Video tutorial: How to add a basic WordPress gallery

After futzing around with this a bit, I finally mastered the gallery feature. The step most people miss is saving the post as a draft. If you skip that, the gallery option won’t show up. In any case, if you’re adding photos to a basic blog and aren’t using a gallery plug-in like Nex-Gen Gallery, the basic built-in WordPress gallery is there for you.

Speaking of galleries… do you have a favorite gallery plug-in? Share it in the comments section.

Awesome tips! I actually teach students on blogging and hadn’t had the time yet to learn and teach this to them. Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it. Do you have any favorite gallery plug-ins? I’ve used Nex-Gen Gallery, but haven’t played with any others.

I don’t have a favourite gallery plug in or a gallery! I must put this into action, thanks for sharing.

    Enjoy the journey.
