About the Author

My name is Valerie Cudnik. I’ve been a blogger for a few years now. My favorite blogs are Pioneer Woman, Cake Wrecks and ProBlogger.

I’ve been a graphic designer since 1987, and have been designing websites for about the last 2 years. I primarily use WordPress as a content management system (CMS) for all of the websites I design. My clients are mostly small business owners, and I enjoy getting them online and helping them grow their business.

This blog has grown out of my love for all things WordPress. And my desire to help others achieve blogging nirvana. Okay, maybe not nirvana, but I do like to be helpful… what’s the point of spending a whole Saturday learning the ins and outs of a new advanced plugin (like MailPress) if you’re not going to share it with people. So to sum it up, this site is designed to help you Build a Better Blog.

My other hobbies include couponing, wine making, beer making, all sorts of arts and crafts, and cooking. Just about everything else I do involves a computer! I’m a gadget freak.
